A lovely pasta primavera, home made egg pasta, a nice fettuccine, with fresh, blanched asparagus, peas, favs beans, snap peas, and broccolini. Made a lovely chicken, potato, leek in white wine stew in the pressure cooker. Served it with a family viewing of John Wick 2.
I wanted to play with my new toy – an electric pressure cooker – and made a gorgeous mushroom risotto (in 15 minutes!). To match the texture I played with velveting chicken in a Szechuan-style chicken with mushrooms, and roasted Brussels sprouts on the side.
Sitting in the garden in the sun, drinking iced tea and watching the dogs romp. Life is good.

Sailing in Puget Sound. Leaving Port Madison with nice weather, seeing the storm appear from over the land, to running flat out ahead if the thunderstorm chasing us. All within 10, 15 minutes.
