Last night crossing the strait to Canada, we got caught in a squall. The wind jumped from 20 knots to 34 and beyond (I saw the wind meter as high as 38.6, but I was a bit busy), against a 3 knot tide...
No wind, but Puget Sound was lovely. We saw seals and dolphins and played slalom with a ton of floating logs. Now we're tucked away in Port Townsend, preparing dinner and waiting for more guests.
