That was the best uitsmijter I ever had. Fried up bread in bacon grease I rendered a few days back from frying bacon with a large handful of cloves of garlic, melted some Kerrigold on it (purely for taste), fried the Black Forest ham (about three times what I’d been using) in the leftover garlicky bacon grease. Five eggs fried in Kerrigold on high, nice crisped edges, foamy, the egg white not quite set.

No photos: I’d been fasting 84 hours by that time and hungry …
