The architect who designed the house we live in was a student of Frank Lloyd Wright. While at the Fellowship in Taliesin West for Christmas in the apprentices’ gift box to the master he put a painting that abstracted the landscape around Taliesin West into geometric shapes and abstract color representations. Frank Lloyd Wright looked at it for minutes and said: “This is the beginning of architecture!” It drove Milton Stricker on a thirty year discovery trip to figure out what he’d meant.
