Though it will hit many business very hard, and will put not a few of them out of business, I am well pleased that, following the CDC’s new guidelines (https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/community/large-events/mass-gatherings-ready-for-covid-19.html) the governor of Washington state tonight announced newer stricter policies, which King County Executive Dow Constantine issued a press release that King County officials will implement these immediately.
All restaurants, bars, entertainment and recreational facilities (dance halls, clubs, theaters, health and fitness clubs, and other similar indoor social or recreational venues), must shut down until March 31 (currently).
Restaurants will be allowed to provide take-out and delivery services only: no in-person dining will be allowed.
The ban excludes grocery stores and pharmacies.
Other retail outlets will have reduced occupancy.
All gatherings over 50 participants are prohibited, and ll gatherings under 50 participants are only allowed if they meet previously
