I’m taking a long-time friend and his granddaughter sailing. We got to Vingilótë, pumped out black water tanks, and, as it has been so hot, empty and refill the water tanks. We were so busy we missed sundowners! So now it’s time for a Belgian Lambiek. I’m thinking the cherry.
Our friends Dave and Mary are on the boat with us, fleeing the heat in Seattle, so, of course, Sunday featured brunch with a new egg dish (a deviled eggs variant), hot animal protein (pork links), a locally made quite awesome banana nut bread, and mimosas.
